The programme is in two parts. The first will deal with mediaeval historiography and with historical production on the middle ages. In the second, students will be guided through of sources and bibliographical collections. The first part in turn will be organised in two units: the first will deal with the main themes of mediaeval historiography, themes linked to the most important events in the history of the middle ages; while the second will present an excursus on the concept of mediaeval (14th – 19th C.).
During lessons of a methodological nature in the second part will be analysed the most important tools of historical research .
