In line with the training objectives of the courses for 1st level degrees of the Health Professions. The course is conceived as a general introduction to information technology and therefore includes: computer hardware and software structures and it considers, at a high level, the interrelations between them (networks and internet). The goal to be reached is to make all students independent in the use of these tools for their study activities and that they also have an overview of the existing and upcoming applications in their profession and in health research. Another objective is to favour the development of a culture and of an informatic education for a correct and responsible using of technological tools which are more and more present in everyday life.
