The course is aimed to help the development of a crytical comprehension of migrations and of human mobility as total social facts
The course is aimed to an analysis of migrations in the frame of a global human ecology, integrating peculiarities of emigration and immigration contexts and their complementarities. Considering immigration contexts, we'll particularly focus our attention on segregation. A separate analysis concerns the concept of race and the birth of scientific racism
