Study in Cardiocirculatory Physiopathology Techniques e Cardiovascular
Perfusion by providing students with knowledge about signs and
symptoms, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic indications in the
pathologies of the nephropathic patient, consistent with the professional
profile of Perfusionist Technician.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the Teaching period the students will be able to:
a) In reference to the signs-symptoms of proteinuria, hematuria, oliguria,
polyuria,
peripheral edema:
illustrate the individual physiopathological mechanisms;
list the clinical significance and the main causes;
plan a correct diagnostic procedure.
b) To interpret the possible results in a physiopathological and diagnostic
key
urinalysis.
c) Specify indications and contraindications, complications, costs,
reliability of the main specialist diagnostic procedures:
- renal function test
- urine culture
- renal biopsy
- diagnostic imaging
- laboratory diagnostics.
d) With reference to systematic nosography:
- To know, based on epidemiological information, which are the most
frequent pathologies affecting the urinary tract.
- Differentiate and interpret the physiopathological elements of
semeiology clinic for a correct classification of diseases.
- Specify the pathogenetic role of the main risk factors.
- Know how to analyze the clinical and instrumental data to make a
correct diagnosis and setting up a therapeutic scheme.
