The Occupational Medicine is a unit of the Integrated Course of Occupational Therapy in the workplace. The module aims to introduce the student to work-related diseases and their prevention, to learn the potential disabling consequences for workers exposed to occupational risk. Furthermore, the course aims to achieve specific skills in the administration of questionnaires for the health surveillance of workers. Finally, the student learns about the potential occupational hazards of their specific job as Occupational Therapist.
