To take the exam the student must show a knowledge of anatomy and physiology of respiratory, cardiovascular and nephrological systems and also a knowledge of nursing plans
The student has to pass all the 1th year exams

Objectives

The teaching of INTEGRATED CLINICAL NURSING IN SPECIFIC AREA, in according to art. 3 of the regulation “Learning objectives and expected skills” provides the student with the scientific basis necessary for the identification of needs nursing in pneumological, cardiological and nephrological field of individual, family and community.
Soft skills
 Making judgment: the student will be able to carry out specific and proper acts; later the student will be able to analyze,critically, his own decisions.
 Abilità comunicative: the student will be able to communicate information to interlocutors specialist and not.
 Learning skill: independently and in cooperation, the student will be ableto search for informations to solve problems in clinical use and to search for the better available evidence, selecting primary and secondary sources critically.
Expected learning outcomes
 Knowledge and understanding skill: with regards to these areas the student will be able to recognize needs nursing of individual, family and community

KNOWLEDGE NURSING METHOD AND CRITICAL THOUGHT AND THEIR APPLICATION TO IDENTIFY NURSING NEEDS RELATED TO THE MAIN PNEMOLOGICAL, CARDIOLOGICAL AND NEPHROLOGICAL DISEASES OF INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY AND COMMUNITY, AIMED TO REALIZE A SAFE NURSING PLANE BASED ON SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCES.

Extended Syllabus

Reference of concepts: diffusion-convection- ultrafiltration
Predialysis unit: chosen of dialysis therapy and nurse role (HP/DP)
Nursing problems:

FAV management
CVC management
Management of dialysis therapy complications Diet program
Peritoneal dialysis

The student must be able to identify nursing needs in people affected by various types of pneumonie and tubercolosis and planning a specific nursing about several situations linked to these diseases.

 Making a specific nursing plans related to the following situations:
-Respiratory distress
- Pulmonary embolism
-Angina pectoris
- Acute miocardial infarction
-Flash pulmonary edema
-Congestive heart failure
-Pericarditis/endocarditis

 Nursing knowledge for E.K.G.

 Nursing during cardiac ultrasound, exercise bike test, holter electrocardiography
 Nursing during coronary angioplasty, cineventriculography, implantation of a pacemaker and defibrillator

Teaching Methods

The course will be held through interactives lectures with the aid of iconographic material in power point and the presenting of clinical cases using nursing diagnosis to realize nursing planes.
To complete teaching method students will visit emodialisys unit

Evaluation methods

Verification of learning:

The assesment method is based on an oral exam during which the student must show to identify nursing needs and nursing diagnosis about several disease and planning a specific nursing in different situations
The evaluation is expressed in thirtieths, the exam is passed if the evaluation is equal or superior to eighteen/thirthy (18/30) and if the student passes all the teachings of the integrated course.
The assesement of insufficiency is not accompanied by a vote.
Praise may be granted unanimously, if the final grade is thirthy
The publicity of the exam is assured and the communication of the final result of the test and its evaluation are published
