The course aims to provide the student with the basic knowledge of computer hardware and software structures for its use in clinical setting.
Understand the basic concepts of computer science and the use of computers
Introduction. The binary system. PC architecture and their general characteristics. Hardware. Software. Algorithm concept, compilers, libraries. Programs of the Microsoft Office family with particular attention to Excel.

Frontal lessons and computer lab activities.
The verification of the students' preparation will be made through a written test with multiple choice answer options related to the entire program with a possible subsequent oral integration at teacher’s discretion.
