The course provides useful elements to be able to:
1) know the basic components of a computer and be able to dialogue with a vendor to purchase a computer.
2) to know the basic functioning of a computer and to be aware of its limitations and of the possibility that it provides incorrect results.
3) produce texts and keep their data correctly and reliably.
4) know the main data formats and the main transfer protocols.
5) have an idea of the steps to be taken to establish an Internet connection (service provider etc.).
6) use the main network tools, in particular browsers and e-mail, in a profitable and correct way.
7) to have an overview of the various types of medical resources that are available and which will be available in the near future, to use the bibliographic resources of the university for the study.

8) assume responsible behaviors such as addressing the problem of the length of a file before circulating it with e-mail or spreading texts in easily readable formats without the aid of proprietary software when this is possible.
