Training objectives: the seminar, in compliance with the provisions of the teaching regulations in article no. 3 "specific training objectives and expected skills", provides the student with the necessary tools to identify the situations that involve a greater risk, in the exercise of profession, in healthcare facilities and in local and home contexts, in order to adopt the most suitable corrective interventions.
EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES
knowledge and understanding: at the end of the seminar the student will be able to know the principles, methods and tools for the development and implementation of clinical risk management systems
Ability to apply knowledge and understanding: the module enables the student to apply knowledge of best practice, with the identification and critical evaluation of errors in healthcare, in any healthcare setting; makes the student capable of managing risky situations
Transversal skills:
- autonomy of judgement: the student will be able to make healthcare decisions by observing the safety and quality of the processes, based on careful identification of risks
- communication skills: the student will be able to communicate effectively with members of the treatment team and with users, modulating his language based on the interlocutor's understanding abilities
Ability to learn: the student will be able, independently and in collaboration, to search for information to solve problems in clinical practice and to search for the best scientific evidence available, critically selecting primary and secondary sources
