The course is divided into different teaching modules, each with specific educational objectives and learning methodologies:
1) Lessons: the module consists of a series of teaching sessions conducted by the teacher, aimed at outlining the scientific framework within which the course is placed. These lessons focus on in-depth analysis of topics related to anthropic development in a broad sense and represent the necessary foundations to fully understand the complex phenomenon of climate change. Through this module, students acquire a solid knowledge base that provides them with a clear intellectual context to critically explore the environmental and territorial dynamics related to climate change in urban contexts.
2) Talk: the module involves participation in a series of conferences, both physical and virtual, conducted by experts specialized in various fields related to the course. These lectures aim to explore in detail specific topics treated in the program. During these events, students are encouraged to ask questions and engage in discussions to deepen their understanding of the topics. The topics addressed during the conferences are further examined in class, through discussions and practical activities, allowing students to consolidate and actively use their knowledge.
3) Workshop: the module consists in practical sessions conducted in the classroom under the guidance of the teacher. Students are guided in conceiving and implementing a project that integrate the principles of sustainable urban design, with particular attention to climate change and adaptation/mitigation strategies. The laboratory provides students with the opportunity to tangibly apply the theoretical skills acquired, tackling challenges related to urban planning in real contexts.
