The complex transition in which we find ourselves places us in a situation in some ways similar to the one in which industrial society arose. Today as then, we are experiencing a long process of change that projects us into the future and of which we are experiencing a transition phase. Today as then, the transformations underway invest the relationships between subjects, shape the social organization, create imbalances, suffer adaptive difficulties, encounter cultural resistance, require new regulations.
