EDUCATIONAL TARGETS
The teaching is part of the general objective of the study course of providing knowledge on economic theories and the world financial system. The course aims to provide the student with the tools for a correct understanding and historical interpretation of economic phenomena.
EXPECTED LEARNING RESULTS
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
At the end of the course, the student must be able to understand the evolution and historical dynamics of financial systems; the consequent financial dynamics and support for the development of ecosystems; the student will also have to be able to think critically about the evolutionary dynamics of finance, understanding the complex phenomena linked to finance and the economic development of states through a theoretical and empirical analysis.
APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
At the end of the course students will be able to:
- identify the factors underlying financial crises;
- apply the historical models that classify the phases of financial crises;
- know the fundamental role of the political corrector in case of financial panic.
MAKING JUDGEMENTS
At the end of the course the student acquires methodologies and conceptual tools useful for developing analyzes and interpretations of financial phenomena in historical evolution.
COMUNICATION SKILLS
At the end of the course the students will be acquired the following communication skills:
- properly use the economic language;
- rigorously outline the dynamics inherent to historical finance.
LEARNING SKILLS
During the course, the student develops a study capacity suitable for analyzing financial evolution and problems in a medium and long-term historical perspective.
