"G. d'Annunzio"
To understand and become familiar with the topics, it is required to pass the exam Analytical Chemistry (for CTF) and Analytical Chemistry and Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry (Pharmacy).
The course objective is to acquire knowledge about the chemical-clinical analysis methods and be able to select the method best suited to solving a given analytical and clinical problem in critically evaluating the analytical data obtained
Sampling process, preparation, and error-related processing. Laboratory automation. Definition of normality field and meaning, clinical sensitivity and specificity (false positives, false negatives), criteria for validation of analytical methods, quality control in clinical chemistry and implementation of laboratory methods. Analysis in biological matrix and therapeutic drug monitoring (principles, procedures, and analysis). Examples of analytical applications in clinical field.
