The Study Program in briefThe inter-class degree course in Philosophy and Educational Sciences is divided into two profiles, corresponding to the intergrated and reference classes:- Philosophy- Educational SciencesThe aim in the Philosophy course is to provide students with an in-depth general philosophical education characterized by a mastery of the historical path of the western philosophical thought from antiquity to the present day with an overall knowledge of the main topics inherent to the scientific area, theoretical, moral and linguistic areas. The course also offers a study of the fundamental authors and currents that have characterized different periods of the philosophical tradition. The training course aims to introduce the student to analysis, conceptual understanding and historical contextualization of some of the most relevant works within the individual periods of the philosophical tradition. The specific educational objective of the course of study is also the achievement of a general knowledge of the fundamental themes and problems that characterize the different sectors of contemporary philosophical inquiry (theoretical, epistemological, linguistic, aesthetic, ethical, religious), and the acquisition, in these research areas, of a solid critical argumentative capacity. Graduates must therefore attain knowledge and skills in textual, in conceptual and terminological analysis, in mastery of the method and analytical argumentation, as well as in the possession of the tools necessary for research such as: good knowledge of English and, possibly, of an another European language as German, French or Spanish; possess methodology of bibliographic research and have computer skills.Graduates in Educational Sciences will acquire basic theoretical knowledge and operational skills in pedagogical and methodological teaching, supplemented by differentiated areas of knowledge and skills in Educational Sciences, also linked to the area of management and human development. They will also acquire knowledge and skills on specific training topics in general including those related to discrimination, integration and multiculturalism, also through training activities aimed at analyzing the social, cultural and territorial reality. Focus will be placed on the development, implementation, management and evaluation of educational projects adapted to the current social and professional complexity. Therefore, the course aims to make the student acquire pedagogical-planning, methodological-didactic, communicative-relational, organizational-institutional skills and competences in order to intervene in the training processes through modern educational technologies. Finally, the course is supplemented by specific educational learning activities such as a foreign language in addition to Italian and adequate computer skills and tools for communication and information management.
