The Welfare Policy and Management Study Program is aimed at training specialist social workers, through the structuring and provision of a theoretical and applicative training course, capable of integrating sociological, economic, legal and pedagogical profiles.This path also makes use of a further strengthening of its training potential, thanks to knowledge and skills that can be developed in the context of curricular internships and activities useful for entering the job market. Therefore, the training course is oriented to the acquisition of high abilities of analysis and interpretation of social phenomena relevant to welfare, for the purposes of planning, design, organization, managerial management and evaluation of social-health services, in the context of interventions, services and social policies.Professional opportunities are provided in social and health services, in public administrations, in structures, services, departments and areas of complexity in the context of social policies, private, social and other Civil Society Organizations.In these professional fields the graduate in Welfare Policy and Management covers managerial, coordination and managerial roles in research and social work with a view into integrating policies, training, management and consulting roles, also supporting decision-makers.
