The course aims to provide students with the knowledge necessary to ensure the Veterinary Public Health.
Topics will be addressed especially concerning the guarantee of healthiness of foodstuffs of animal origin, the fight against the spread of infectious and diffusive diseases, especially zoonoses, welfare and otherness, the correct relationship between man and animal and environment.
During the academic year the following main topics will be addressed:
Food security and "hygiene package";
Epidemiology and use of GIS;
Management of epidemic emergencies;
National and international movements;
Transhumance, pasture, montication, roaming pasture.
