Objectives

Students will be provided with information and support regarding the programs, lecture topics, laboratory activities, exams and methods for the assignment of theses and final works. Contents

The course includes basic aspects of the psychology of attitudes, such as the structure, the functions, the psychological processes involved in their formation and those that facilitate or hinder change; the processes of persuasion, with theoretical reference models and both traditional and recent research paradigms. The course also examines aspects of particular interest for community and organizational life related to the expression of social attitudes, such as political attitudes, ethnic racial prejudice, sexism and ageism.
Particular attention is paid to the formation and change of political attitudes; to the formation and change of consumption attitudes.
