THE EXPERIENCE OF THE CLINICAL INTERVIEW
The laboratory will deal with the topic of psychotherapeutic work with parents and, referring to this theme, the teacher will introduce the theoretical references and propose to students the useful elements for conducting an interview with a parent (mother or father) of a preschool child.

SHORT-TERM PSYCHOTHERAPY MODULE
The course aims to provide a preliminary general theoretical framework on the historical origin and developments of short-term dynamic psychotherapy starting from Freud, Ferenczi and Rank. The techniques of Alexander and French and of the "Chicago school", the "emergency psychotherapy" of Bellak and Small and the "anxiety-relieving" and "anxiolytic" psychotherapy of Sifneos will also be studied. Mann's contribution to short-term psychotherapy will also be discussed.
The course will also have a practical and interactive part aimed - through the discussion of clinical protocols and role-play - to focus on the differences between psychoanalysis and short-term dynamic psychotherapy, with specific attention to technical differences.

CLINICAL PHENOMENOLOGY
The main topics of the course are the following:
 Genealogy of psychopathology
 Common sense and psychopathology
 Intersubjectivity
 Vulnerability to schizophrenia
 Vulnerability to melancholia
The aim is to provide the student with a conceptual insight to understand schizophrenia and depression.
The Teachers will provide case materials suitable for the simulation of psychotherapy sessions. Students will be invited to offer their insight into case studies and simulate interactions (questions, remarks, etc.) with the patients whose experiences are described during each lesson. Students are also invited and guided to express their emotions and personal narrative on the clinical material presented during lessons.
