The teaching contributes to the realization of the educational objectives of the Course of Studies in Health Assistance providing students with the
knowledge necessary for the achievement of preventive strategies for the protection of health.
EXPECTED LEARNING RESULTS
Knowledge and understanding
At the end of the lessons of the course the student will have to:
- know the environment and the territory in relation to individual and community health;
- know the main sources of atmospheric, intramural, acoustic pollution, from electromagnetic fields, soil, water and the production, treatment
and disposal of waste.

- Know how to undertake adequate preventive and protective actions against human health.
