Contents

The program is mainly focused on prevention in the obstetric and gynecological field, in particular, in the gynecological field, oncological screening and the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases will be treated, and, in the obstetric field, the prenatal screening and the main obstetric pathologies. Topics relating to reproductive health will then be treated

Review of anatomy and physiology of the female genital system.
Sexually transmitted infections.
Contraception.
Cervical cancer screening. Notes on ovarian and endometrial cancer.
The protection of female fertility and the prevention of infertility. Law 40.
The preconceptional health of women.
Notes on the techniques of prenatal diagnosis. Law 194.
Outline of the physiology and pathology of pregnancy.
Screening of the main pathologies of pregnancy.

Teaching Methods

The teaching is structured in 10 hours of frontal teaching, divided into lessons of 2 or 3 hours according to the academic calendar. Frontal teaching consists of theoretical lessons and seminars held by experts on the topics covered.
Attendance is compulsory for the number of hours indicated annually by the Course Council and for each discipline.

Evaluation methods

Verification of learning:

The verification of the students' preparation will take place by carrying out an oral test aimed at ascertaining the learning, conceptual mastery, language properties as well as the ability to interpret and synthesize the medical knowledge acquired.
The evaluation will be expressed by marks out of thirty.
