The program is divided in two main parts. The first part involves the introduction to the elements of classical philology, the reading on fac-simile of Greek and Latin manuscripts and the simulation of a critical edition.
The second part will introduce the circumstances of the transmission of texts and the process followed in critical editions, in particular Aristophanes’Plutus; reading and discussing on an ancient text in its original language and with its critical apparatus, will introduce to a wider historical and cultural contextualization.
