The seminar aims to offer students tools in order to read, understand, analyze the contemporary poetry. In this perspective, we will provide insights on the main currents, methods, styles, cultural and social contexts of contemporary poetry production. At the end of the seminar, the student will hopefully be able to conduct independent and targeted analyses and interpretations on an informed methodological basis.
At the end of the seminar, students will produce a text (minimum 10,000 - maximum 20,000 characters) on the seminars followed during the course, or on a single author/seminar/topic that has them particularly passionate. Non-attending students will produce a report (minimum 10,000 characters - maximum 20,000 characters) on one of the two volumes in the bibliography (Mengaldo or Bertoni). The suitability is attributed in consideration of the formal correctness of the text, the ability to synthesize and the critical reworking of the topics treated.
