Prerequisites:

Knowledge of Public Law main issues is required. If necessary, principal Constitutional Law issues will be substantially reconstructed with the lecturer support.

Objectives

Contributing to Fundamental Rights and Freedoms knowledge, with regulatory and case-law practice.

Contents

The course critically deepens the Fundamental Rights and Freedom's study into the multilevel Constitutionalism perspective. Pursuing this goal, lessons will focus on the following profiles:
- Fundamental Rights and Freedoms at the crossroads between Constitutional, International and EU Law;
- the Italian Constitutional Court case-law relevance;
- the rights balancing process and its limits;
- dialogue of Courts;
- legal harmonization tools;
- study of current issues on the subject, also in light of the most recent case law.
