The course contributes to the general learning objectives of the CdS. The goal of the course is to train psychology professionals having a firm ethical awareness, as well as capable of deal with complex situations.
In the detail, the course aims to develops the following areas:
- Knowledge and comprehension: the student will be able to describe the history and evolution of the ethics code of conduct, and will be able to recognize the main moral issues raising during research in psychology
- Autonomy of judgment: the student will be able to discuss a series of single cases and develop new analytical points of view, highlighting strengths and limitations of the research paradigms.
- Communication skills: the student will be able to use the technical language of ethics studies.
