The Degree Course (CdS) in Environmental and Workplace Prevention Techniques (qualifying for t healthcare profession in Environmental and Workplace Prevention Techniques) belongs to Class 4 of degrees in Health Prevention Professions (L / SNT4) and aims to train health professionals who, pursuant to art. 4 of the Law of 10 August 2000, n. 251, carry out prevention, inspection and control activities with regard to hygiene and environmental safety in the areas of life and work, food and beverage hygiene, public health and veterinary hygiene. Such activities must take place within the sphere of responsibility deriving from professional profiles.The course is divided into three years and provides for the acquisition of 180 credits overall and the achievement of the final relative degree. The number of exams scheduled is 25 (including seminars, vocational training, optional teaching activities and laboratories). The topics covered range from the basics related to medical-biological, legal and technical disciplines, to the dealing of the most professionalizing issues.The final exam has the value of a State examination qualifying for professional practice.The educational qualification allows access to a Master's Degree Courses in the LM / SNT4 Technical Professions in Health Sciences, without educational debits (Article 4, paragraph 3, of 19 February 2009), and to Specialization Courses .The first year of the Degree Course (CdS) in Environmental and Workplace Prevention Techniques was activated in our university in the academic year 2002/2003.
