The teaching of Economic and Social Policy adheres to the professional profile of the Degree Course, sharing its general objectives through a thematic articulation of its topics, aimed at the acquisition of specific contents within the Social Service, such as to provide the Student with disciplinary knowledge on models, theories and tools of the Social Service and a critical and scientific vision of social change, in relation to the different Welfare policies implemented in response to new problems and needs emerging from contemporary society.
At the end of the course, the student will have to possess knowledge and competences concerning welfare models and their evolution, the relationship between welfare, state and market in the different political-social declinations, specific social policies and their patterns of implementation, management and legitimization, in line with the formation of a professional figure in charge of managing and intervening in public social and private social policies.
