Objectives

- Educational targets:
the course is meant to contribute to reach the goals of the CdS "Filologia, Linguistica e Tradizioni letterarie". Specifically, it aims to supply a knowledge in the field of historical methods.

- Expected learning results:
1) knowledge of the programme subjects;
2) to be able to critically discuss specific case-studies;
3) communications skills.

Contents

The Workshop aims to present examples of historical documents. Each example will be illustrated by a different scholar, who shows to the students the multifaceted and complex phases of the ecdotic work.

Extended Syllabus

The programme is divided into 12 seminars coordinated by
the teacher and focused on the different methods of historical research. The Workshop will begin March, 11, 3-5 pm.

Recommended Bibliography

The Workshop does not envisage reference texts other than PDFs of
contributions to all the organized seminars, which the teacher will supply to students beforehand.

Teaching Methods

Lectures will be given as classroom-taught lessons (24 hours). Students will be tested for assessment of learning.

Evaluation methods

Verification of learning:

Written and oral exam.
Only students who attended at least 16 hours of the seminars may prepare the written test at the end of the Workshop
