RUSSIAN LANGUAGE I
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The aim of the course is to move students forward from the first stage of level B2 (obtained at the end of the BA course) to the second stage of level B2 referring to CEFR. In particular the main objectives of the course are:
- Complete mastery of all Russian grammatical structure (morphologic and syntactic);
- Acquisition of a medium-high level semantic competence;
- Acquisition of some disciplinarian lexicon (linguistics and literature);
- Comprehension of specialized articles, from which get the main information;
- Comprehension of long and complex texts, identifying the required information.
CONTENT
Contemporary Russian text analysis: literary, scientific (artistic, historic and literary textbooks and articles) and cultural public affairs. Deepening of Russian complex morphosyntactic and stylistic structures.
SYLLABUS
- Russian morphosyntactic and lexical analysis of texts 1) articles on current events about contemporary socio-cultural topics; 2) contemporary-literary; 3) scientific (artistic, historic and literary textbooks and articles). Textual analysis will be followed by a deeping of Russian complex morphosyntactic and stylistic structures in order to develop a good morphosyntactic and stylistic mastery, and an advanced semantic competence.

- Russian stylistic register in a contrastive perspective with Italian.

ASSESSMENT METHODS
Kind of test: Oral assessment
Final written exam, consisting of comprehension of a Russian text through questions. Final oral exam on course topics to be exposed in Russian and Italian, and a check of Russian morphosyntactic structures learning through text analysis.
