The course aims to provide students with bases of orientation to understand the phenomena related to human settlement, providing a summary picture of today's geographic situation, also in a dynamic and perspective perspective. Therefore the topics addressed will also attempt to provide a key to understanding contemporary issues from a geographical perspective. The student, at the end of the course of study, will be able to have a basic knowledge of physical, human and political geographic phenomena and to frame some important themes of global phenomena, also through a cartographic reading of them.
