TRAINING OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTED LEARNING RESULTS: According to the Dublin descriptors, the educational objectives are aimed to provide the student with the concepts and methods necessary to recognize and elaborate the fundamental ideas of Mechanics and become able to apply these
concepts and methods in the field of Health care professions (knowledge and understanding, applying knowledge and understanding). At the end of the course the student will have to demonstrate to have learned the basic notions and methods of physics, to have reached the knowledge and skills to understand a problem of mechanics so to be able to give an independent judgement on problems of physics, to be able to communicate the own opinions to people with the same competences and also to people with no specific competences, and to be able to manipulate these ideas and methods in a manner appropriate to the scientific training and to the needs of their profession (communication skills).
