The course aims to deepen the study of some key concepts about individual psychological functioning and about the psychodynamic interview features. In particular, the contribution of some classical authors (such as Freud and more contemporary psychoanalysts) will be considered, facilitating reflections and critical considerations especially on the concepts of setting, transference and countertransference, with an active involvement of the students. Theoretical and practical aspects relating to psychodynamic consultation will be illustrated, also through clinical examples.
