Objectives

The course aims to provide knowledge and skills as well as to develop skills related to nutritional approaches in patients with obesity, metabolic syndrome, cardio-metabolic disease, NAFDL. The course also aims to provide knowledge on the diagnosis, prevention and nutritional therapeutic approach in obesity, metabolic syndrome, cardio-metabolic disease, NAFDL

Contents

This teaching contributes to the achievement of the educational objectives of the Degree Course by providing in-depth knowledge on human nutrition and dietary techniques in obesity and cardio-metabolic diseases. The course also provides knowledge on the role of nutrition and diet in the prevention and treatment of obesity and cardio-metabolic diseases.

Nutritional approach for obesity, weight loss and its maintenance. Nutrition and cardio-metabolic diseases. How to administer nutritional therapy. Principles of therapeutic education.
