Theories, comparative models, and the Italian / European system, of synchronic and diachronic expressions of secessionism, federalism and autonomy in the multilevel constitutional order, with particular attention to the evolution of the forms of state and government in relation to changes in the economic constitution and new challenges in the age of globalization
A) Knowledge and understanding:
- Knowledge and understanding of the historical development and the current state of multilevel public law in the national, comparative and European context.
- Knowledge of the forms of state and government in relation to the various configurations of economic constitutions and the variety of models of territorial articulation of public functions.
- Knowledge and understanding of constitutional theory and application problems of financial and fiscal federalism.
B) Applying knowledge and understanding:
- Ability to analyze and critically evaluate federalist processes and dynamics, including secessionist tensions.
- Ability to analyze emerging case studies in practice and to apply the appropriate concepts of internal, comparative and multilevel constitutional law.
C) Communication skills
-Ability to illustrate concisely the main issues of the course
D) Dynamic learning skills
- Ability to understand the connections between different constitutional questions, both theoretical and practical.
