Learning Objectives:
The objectives of the course in “Cultural Heritage” includes the broadening of knowledge of a foreign European language. The main objective is to lead students to a B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Students must be able to understand concepts of a simple discourse on familiar topics, understand written texts on everyday life and work, communicate in a sufficiently spontaneous and natural way on simple topics (for example, students must be able to describe a place, a person, a picture, to exchange information, and to talk about themselves, etc.) and interact in a context of everyday life. Finally, students must be able to write simple texts on well-known topics, letters and personal opinions. The course will prepare students for the Cambridge Certificate Examination (PET B1).
Abilities:
At the end of the course students must be able to use the English language according to the B1 level of competence.
Self-assessment:
Students must acquire the necessary skills in order to be able to express themselves clearly and correctly.
Communicative skills:
Students must be able to communicate with sufficient awareness on a range of topics such as everyday life and personal experiences.
