For non-attending students, in addition to the texts recommended by the teacher to students on a case-by-case basis to make good the gaps inevitably caused by failure to attend lectures, one of the following two books:
- H. Honour, "Neoclassicismo", ed. Piccola Biblioteca Einaudi 2010.
- M. Calvesi, "Le due avanguardie: dal Futurismo alla Pop Art", ed. Laterza 2008.
To achieve a good level of preparation it is strongly recommended to attend lectures in view of the specific nature of the topics addressed and, in some cases, of the paucity of reference material available.
