Objectives

The Educational Laboratory Visul Art Culture of the Territory, is part of the training plans of the Bachelor's Degree Course in Cultural Heritage and of the Master's Degree Course in Archaeological and Historical-Artistic Heritage, with the aim of providing students with the necessary knowledge tools and in-depth study on the production of artistic ceramics in Abruzzo between history, contents and main collections of our territory.

Topics covered:
01. Presentation of the topics covered. The tradition of artistic ceramics between terracotta, majolica, stoneware, bisquit and porcelain.
02. Pescara / The R. Paparella-Treccia and M. Devlet Foundation.
03. Loreto Aprutino / The Acerbo Museum of Castelli ceramics.
04. Castles / The Ceramics Museum.
05. Atessa / The Sassu Museum.
06. Contemporary artists and ceramics.
07. Thematic routes to be communicated during the meetings.

The attendance, and the passing of a final test, consisting in a verification test, correspond to the acquisition of 3 CFU, corresponding to 24 hours of activity, mainly consisting of lectures.
The workshop will be held in the second semester of the Academic Year 2019-2020 and the lessons will take place from March to May 2020, with a weekly lesson lasting 3 hours.
