Objectives

To enable the student to develop a thorough knowledge of the basic concepts of Sociotherapy; to develop transversal skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, the ability to extend their knowledge beyond the specific area of learning.

Contents

The module starts from some basic elements concerning communication such as representation, laws, generalizations and complexity. The aim is to introduce the student to an approach that links communication to the relationship in order to make it capable of interpreting itself, others and the environment to strengthen its capacity for social interaction.

Extended Syllabus

The representation, the historical drift of the media, the autonomy of the symbolic, the discipline linked to the new tools of communication will become the conditions for personal growth both in view of a personal cultural increase, and in view of a possible professional perspective.
