Prerequisites:

The prerequisites for access to the course depend on the current regulations for the preparation of the CFU provided by the cdL.
It is advisable to have already acquired the basic concepts of Child Neuropsychiatry in order to better understand the clinical frameworks referred to in the topics treated

Objectives

The general educational objective of the course is to provide theoretical and practical knowledge of Occupational Therapy in children in childhood.
At the end of the course the student will achieve the following specific objectives:
-Methodology, clinical reasoning and analysis of job profiles
-Adaptation of techniques and tools learned on specific clinical cases

•Basic concepts of the role of Occupational Therapy in childhood
•Child development process
•Essential targets of objectives in Occupational Therapy in childhood
•Intervention of the Occupational Therapist in the family
•Intervention of the Occupational Therapist in the school context
•Dynamic evaluation process, methods and approaches of Occupational Therapy in childhood
•Prerequisites for ADL
•Application of topics treated in specific clinical cases

The verification of the learning of the acquired notions consists in an oral test aimed at ascertaining the learning, the conceptual mastery, the language property and the ability of interpretation and synthesis.
