The course will focus on congenital and acquired pathologies of the musculoskeletal system. The anatomical and physiological bases of the osteoarticular apparatus and of the various organs of movement will be exposed, with particular attention to the aspects of embryology, to the processes of ossification and osteogenesis, to the histological characteristics of the different components of the musculoskeletal system. The clinical aspects of the approach to the orthopedic patient will be explored, illustrating the basics of anamnestic collection, physical examination, laboratory tests and instrumental diagnostics, in particular by images. The most common metabolic osteopathies, inflammatory and rheumatic osteoarthropathies, infectious osteoarthritis, ischemic osteopathies, congenital and growth pathologies, degenerative pathologies will be the subject of in-depth treatment.
