The degreecourse in Foreign languages and literatures hastraditionalhumanisticfeatures: languages and literatures represent in facta central aspect of culture, considered as an expression of the history, geography, society and arts of a specification. This degree course aims at educating graduates who have a solid basic training in linguistics and in the Italian language and literature; excellent writing and speakings kills in at least two foreign languages;a knowledge of the cultural and literary heritage they are expression of; an ability to use the main communication medias. To this aim, the degree course off ersnotonly language classes but also literature, philology, linguistics, didactic, history, and arts classes, in addition to linguistic training activities aimed at achieving the fundamentals kills required for inter-linguistic mediation for written and spoken languages.
