n line with the educational objectives of the Degree in Language and foreign literature , the aim of the course is to examine the most recent developments in the theoretical and practical debate on translation and to acquire linguistic competence - also with respect to mediation - at a fully autonomous level (B2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference).
RESULTS OF APPROACH ATTENTION: The course aims to provide theoretical and methodological tools useful for the profession of translator in different fields, and to acquire both oral and written translation skills, from and into French.
KNOWLEDGE AND CAPACITY OF COMPREHENSION: knowledge and application of the main translation approaches applied to the various types of text. The aim of the course will be to consolidate and deepen the language skills both written and oral, also with reference to the interpretation of negotiations.
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND COMPREHENSION: analyse translations according to the type of test and the different language registers;
AUTONOMY OF JUDGMENT: to reflect critically on the different approaches to translation and on the regulatory mechanisms that govern the standard and non-standard language.
COMMUNICATION ABILITIES: to be able to describe the main translation approaches and apply them to the different types of text being analyzed, to consolidate the skills of understanding, production and oral interaction.
