During the lectures, will be offered the study of the Portuguese language starting from the opposite concepts of unity and varie-ty, analyzing the peculiarities and differences of the different registers. In particular, the di-atopic variation of the language will be stud-ied in depth, a notion that can be applied to different text types. Certain translation prob-lems arising from a contrastive analysis be-tween Portuguese and Italian will also be ad-dressed.
the various aspects will be analysed in parallel with the analysis of textual genres in Portuguese and according to different theoretical approaches.
