EDUCATIONAL TARGETS
The aim of the course is to provide the necessary tools to understand the development of the world economy starting from the analysis of the theory of the international economy.
EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
The student, with the acquisition of educational credits, will purchase the tools to:
- understand the complex relationships that characterize world economies in terms of commercial exchanges;
- critically evaluate the effectiveness of the commercial policies implemented by each country.
APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
At the end of the course students will be able to apply the acquired knowledge to:
- analyze the problems of the national and international economy;
- develop short, medium and long-term scenarios and analyze the possible choices of international economic policy.
MAKING JUDGMENTS
The student will be able to independently collect and evaluate the information necessary for the analysis and resolution of problems related to the international economy.
The actual possession of the autonomy of judgment is verified through the test of verification in which it will have to demonstrate ability of synthesis, of analysis, of elaboration and appropriateness of language.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Students will be able to present the knowledge acquired with adequate language and methodological rigor.
LEARNING SKILLS
The student will be able to understand the relationships between international markets and will have acquired a working method useful for continuous updating in their own working context of reference, also thanks to the classroom discussion of case studies useful for applying what has been learned from the point of theoretical view.
