The course focuses on the introduction to the main grammatical notions of Egyptian dialect, and its main differences with Modern Standard Arabic. During the course texts in Egyptian dialect with gradual and progressive difficulty will be analyzed, in addition to interviews, dialogues and songs in dialect. The course also introduces the study of literary works written in dialect.
