The course contributes to achieving the educational objectives of the Master’s Degree Course in Philology, Linguistics and Literary Traditions. In particular, it aims to provide students with deeper knowledge and methodologies of Medieval History.
At the end of the module the student must:
1. know the most important sources relating to the birth and definitive establishment of the Order of Friars Minor
2. be able to place Salimbene in his historical and historiographic context
